Stephanie White BA, LMT: Wakefield, Rhode Island, United States; I am a licensed massage therapist with my own practice, Optimal Wellness Therapeutic Massage. I live and work locally and truly love what I do. I am also an independent contractor for an integrative oncology center. I volunteer for numerous local cancer survivor's groups including Livestrong in hopes of getting the word out about the research on the benefits of massage to oncology patients. I also have a certification in pilates and group exercise and continue to teach on a regular basis. I have completed several sprint triathlons (completed is the operative word here, think 'survived') and am an avid runner. Good thing, because I am also the mother of two small, very energetic boys I spend a lot of time chasing. I have over 20 years experience working in human services and bring the experience of working with people and the kinesthetic and anatomic knowledge I have gained as both an instructor and athlete to provide the massage best suited to meet the needs of my individual clients. There has never been a day yet where I have not wanted to go to work. For real. Best. Job. Ever.
